Living by example as an organisation
At Profusion we want to be a truly purposeful organisation in the way we do business – from nurturing new talent to removing barriers to entry for under-represented groups. We’re proud to have reached 15th position in Campaign magazine’s 50 Best Places to Work in 2017.
We’ve partnered with Central Foundation Boys School, based around the corner from us in Old Street. We’ll be welcoming in students of all ages for ‘day in the life’ insight days, work experience placements and to solve real-life business problems as part of their vocational courses. CFBS needs more businesses to offer work experience placements for its year 12s in June. If you can help, get in touch.
We’ve signed up to the Care Leaver Covenant – a promise made by private, public and voluntary organisations to help young care leavers to live independently. In 2016, nearly 40% of 19-21 year old care leavers were not in employment, education or training compared with 14% of all people in the same age group. A fifth of young homeless people have been in care, too. We’re opening work experience opportunities to young care leavers to help them access employment, and through that the finances necessary to secure a place to live.
We believe everyone deserves a second chance. We also recognise that ex-offenders face barriers to employment and are delighted to join the ‘ban the box’ campaign for equal opportunities in the jobs market.
We’ll use data to make change in homelessness & food poverty. That’s our area of focus for 2019, chosen by our people.Find out more

making a difference
“I hope the days of just writing out a cheque or sending out some volunteers are long gone. I’ve personally known charities that have had to paint over walls that corporates went in to decorate, and by just giving money companies are missing out on a lot of the value they could gain from a real two-way partnership”
Natalie Cramp, managing director of Profusion Cares
